About Agro Processing Cluster

Ministry of Food Processing Industries (Govt. of India) has launched a scheme for Creation of Infrastructure for Agro Processing Cluster under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojna. This scheme aims at the development of modern infrastructure and provide the basic and common facility to encourage investor to set up Food Processing Units in this cluster. The Scheme should be developed in Agriculture and Horticulture production Area, to save wastage of crops and beneficial for farmers. As per Govt. intension to double the income of farmers, it is an incredibly positive step.
